Confessions of a Mediator

TDLA will present another FREE CLE for our members on Thursday December 5th, 2019 beginning at 1pm EST/ 12pm CST for one hour.

Attorney Mike H. Bassett with Bassett Law Firm in Dallas, TX is going to share with us six lessons he’s learned - as both a 32 year trial attorney and 15 year mediator – that will help you get the best settlement for your client. 

He’ll talk about the importance of preparing your client long before mediation, getting your ducks in a row before mediation, submitting a Mediation Position Statement to the mediator, showing the mediator your strengths, avoiding surprises, and engaging the mediator to learn more about your case.
