Allison Cotton has joined Ford Harrison's Nashville office where her practice focuses on representation of employers in labor and employment matters.

Lynn Lawyer has changed positions within Nationwide and now works out of their Franklin, TN office.  Her new position is Assistant General Counsel - Business Operations supporting the Central Atlantic Regional Operations. 

Tennessee Governor Bill Haslam has appointed TDLA's Immediate Past President, Brad Box, to a four-year term on the Governor's Council for Judicial Appointments. 

TDLA welcomes its newest member:

Kimberly Silvus of Wiseman Ashworth Law Group, PLC, Nashville.  Kimberly is a 2005 graduates of The University of Georgia School of Law ad practices in the areas of medical malpractice, nursing home and professional liability.

James Kendrick Simms of Thompson Burton, PLLC, Franklin is a 2001 University of Tennessee law school graduate who practices Employment law.  He is a member of DRI and is sponsored by Cate Dugan.

Anthony "Bud" Jackson of Chambliss, Bahner & Stophel, Chattanooga, Tennessee is a 1990 graduate of the University of Cincinnati law school, who practices in the areas of business litigation and product liability.  He is a member of DRI and is sponsored by Rocky King.

James Tucker began his term as 2014-15 President of TDLA at the 2014 Fall Seminar and Annual Meeting held in Tunica, Mississippi October 16-18, 2014.  Brad Box passed the infamous "buffalo tie", which is signed on the back by almost all of the Past Presidents of TDLA. 

Changes in the Board include:

Also, Rocky King will now serve as a Vice President and Lynn Lawyer will serve as a Director. 

Laurel Cleek Ball replaces Marcia McShane, whose 3-year term has expired, on the Bench & Bar Committee.

Effective October 26, Brad Box begins his term as DRI State Representative for Tennessee, replacing Melanie Stewart whose three-year term expires at the conclusion of the 2014 DRI Annual Meeting.

TDLA welcomes its newest member, Whitney E. Goode of Hagwood Adelman Tipton in Memphis.  Whitney is a 2013 graduate of the University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law and practices in the areas of Employment, Insurance, Medical Malpractice, Nursing Home, Professional Liability and Tort.  Whitney is a member of DRI and is sponsored by TDLA member, Rebecca Adelman.
