Your client hires what they think is an uber-qualified fire cause and origin expert. The expert performs their inspection and tells them that there is strong subrogation against the manufacturer for $5,000,000.
They move on quickly with the repairs and file for subrogation. The case goes to trial and after a strong presentation your expert is cross-examined. Things quickly go south when opposing counsel quizzes your expert on the scientific method expert and NFPA 921. The expert relied on instinct and not science… your client lost their chance at $5,000,000…
This session will teach attendees the importance of a true fire expert following NFPA 921 and why objectivity, data collection and analysis, and collaboration also matter.
The session will cover:
- Use of Industry Advancements & Technology
- Collaboration is Important
