Women litigators in Alabama, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee are teaming up again to support, educate and advance women civil defense litigators at the 5th Annual Southeastern Women Litigators Summit (SEWL) from March 5-6, 2026 in Savannah, Georgia.
Mark your calendars to join your colleagues from five states for the 5th SEWL Summit, “Anchored in Advocacy,” offering a comprehensive overview of the litigation process. We’ll gather at the Hyatt Regency Savannah from March 5-6, 2026, beginning and ending each day at noon.
Whether you’re a seasoned litigator or newer to the practice, you’re sure to sail away with cutting-edge ideas for excelling in the courtroom. The progressive CLE sessions will chart a course from pre-suit to trial, beginning with early evaluation and strategy and ending with voir dire and opening statements. In between, we’ll explore best practices for written discovery, expert discovery, motions in limine, and jury charges.
We’ll also hear from the bench, featuring Hon. Lisa Godbey Wood, U.S. District Court Judge for the Southern District of Georgia, and Hon. Elizabeth D. Gobeil, Court of Appeals of Georgia.
All hands on deck for honing your trial skills and navigating new connections in the scenic harbors of Savannah!
